Hello to friends of old, and to new ones: welcome :)
I am 22, female, hail from England and am 5ft 11 with natural golden/blonde hair and bluey green eyes that merge into brown – which I always thought were quite cool :P
I stumbled across the amazing world of RPing in February 2012 whilst on holiday in Cornwall. LORD OF THE RINGS
Forgotten Evil - (complete) - Legolas gets poisoned by something that Sauron originally intended to use against Elrond, Thranduil and Galadriel in his bid to bring down the elves. Aragorn, unsure what to do, takes him to Elrond who in turn is at a loss. Will Legolas be able to fight who becomes his greatest enemy... himself? Will he be killed, or worse, succumb to the evil?
This was my first fanfic. The writing style and chapter length isn't fantastic at the beginning, but as you read on, the length, characterisation and my writing does improve - I'm quite pleased with how it turns out! It's non-slash and postROTK. Most characters are in this :-)
Friendship is the Best Medicine - (complete) - (one-shot) - Written for Teitho originally. After a bet, Legolas and Estel race against Elladan and Elrohir, but, after a dispute, Legolas gets wounded in an orc fight. Estel remembers the first time Legolas risked his own life to save the young man's, and helps him to heal. Non-slash and preFOTR
Knowing the Limit - (complete) - (one-shot) - When Legolas is recovering from an incident, he pushes himself to far whilst healing, resulting in a rather strange and somewhat scary dream for the elf.
Written for Teitho originally, and I'm actually really pleased with this ficlet! There's a little bit of humour between Thranduil and Legolas at the end. preFOTK
Secrets and Preparations of a Drinking Game - (complete) - Gimli challenges Legolas to a drinking game re-match after losing the last one, but this time with dwarven ale, which, to Gimli's delight, elves have no tolerance too. Aragorn is in on it too, inviting Eomer and the elven twins to further humiliate Legolas. The first chapter is Legolas trying the ale and discovering its effects, whilst the rest of the story is him trying to evade humiliation before the match even begins. This leads to a rather parnoid elf who gets up to a lot in a seemingly normal day. Last chapter is the actual match.
Very proud of this fic! Definately one of my better early ones. Full of humour. The first chapter won me third place on Teitho!
MERLIN
Something Beautiful - (complete) - It is evident to Gaius that Merlin hasn't properly gotten over Freya's death. When Merlin finds himself once again dreaming of what he could have had with her and cries himself back to sleep, Gaius is concerned. The elderly physician encourages Merlin to grieve - who initially bats away the idea - who reluctantly agrees. Merlin returns to the lake and allows himself to finally grieve.
My first Merlin fic, I love it! It's lovely and angsty ;-)
The King's Saviour - (complete) - "You will not die by magic, Uther, that is my gift to you." For one King to rise, another must fall. A young drunk warlock heads to the rooms of a sleeping Uther, ready to speed up his destiny and carry out a revenge on behalf of himself and many others.
This is a very dark!Merlin and involves a character death.

My Last Breath - (complete) - Morgana's POV whilst in the Throne Room with Merlin, leading up to the point where she is poisoned whilst Arthur fights eyond the doors. She wasn't aware this was all doing, she wasn't aware Merlin had a motive... all she knew was that she was scared.
I really like this fic, it was inspired by Evanescence's 'my last breath'... hence the title name :-D Fairly angsty and my first POV fic... ever!
Singing and Hangovers Don't Mix! - (complete) - Arthur, though he won't admit it, is hungover and Merlin just will not shut up with his talking, singing and humming! But the warlock tends to rub off onto Arthur eventually :-D
This is just a little bit of non-slash fun. I couldn't stop singing 500 miles one morning after going out, much to my friend's annoyance, and it's a song that always makes me happy... the whole scenario instantly reminded me of Merlin and Arthur! Hence the formation of this little one-off story :-D
What's wrong with Merlin? - (complete) - Something is wrong with Merlin, leaving Arthur and Gaius rather worried... and determined to find out what it is.
This actually happened to me during the week that I wrote this, and wondered how Arthur, Gwen and Gaius might react... which, funnily enough is very similar to how my friends and family reacted. Some humour ;-)
A Forced Road Called Destiny - (complete) - 'It takes all of my will power and resolve to not let my eyes wash over the body of the greatest man, King and friend, I ever knew. The second half of my coin.' Short Merlin POV fic during the Battle of Camlann, the day three Destiny's were fulfilled.

Duty of a Dragonlord - (complete) - Missing scene from 'Aithusa'. Merlin realises something about the cave that he, Arthur and the Knights go through... and surprisingly for him, Arthur realises it too. Little bit angsty for Merlin. :-)
