I thought it was time for a major profile overhaul when i started my beta profile, so here it goes!

Hello! "Slomiti Andeo" is the name of an author who has numerous love affairs with several anime and mangas, and who channels those obsessions into works written in nature. She's read fanfiction for several years now, and started writing within the last one, starting with a 12 chapter fiction entitled "Don't Wake Me from My Nightmare" based on the Vampire Knight anime/manga storyline. There are stories in the works grounded in Inuyasha, Hellsing, and (although very strange) NCIS, and these will have to wait until DWMMN is done. Slomiti Andeo hails from the Northeastern United States, which she traverses every couple of months in the process of pursuing a higher education at a private, liberal arts college in New York State.

Slomiti Andeo's writing is not thrown together, or cobbled from the inane mutterings of her own mind without refinement. An attention to detail, landscape, emotion, and the workings of the mind come together in a collection of words that take the narrative beyond a plot and into fiction. She is influenced by Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, Shakespeare (without the 'thee's and 'thou's and overused plot elements), and the amazing fanfiction writer Lucia d'Medici. She hopes that as a reader, your thoughts are drawn into the plot, dazzled by the detail, and detained in this world of her creation.

"In the sea without lees standeth the bird of Hermes, eating his wings variable and maketh himself yet full stable. When all his feathers from him be gone, he standeth still here as a stone. Here is now both white and red, and all so the stone to quicken the dead". "The Bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame" -- Ripley scroll, 15th century

UPDATE JULY 8, 2009:

I apologize to everyone for my delay in writing more on DWMMN, and I hope to rectify the situation soon. Everyone who has read my work so far has been so nice, and I don't want to disappoint all of you any further with my ineptitude at getting writing done on a timely basis. Please bear with me. Thank you.
