Notes
I have put off writing on my profile for forever. Recently, however, it seemed more dismal than defiant to have absolutely nothing written here. First thing you will probably notice about me, from looking at my favorites list, is that I do a lot of reading. My favorite fanfictions to read are Pokemon, Harry Potter, and Ace Combat. The first I have read the most of because there are many good stories out there of my favorite pairing. Harry Potter fanfictions can be fun, however there a lot of odd pairings out there and high ratings (I think some writers in this fandom come up with there pairings for the thrill if the challenge). As for Ace Combat there are very little stories out there, especially ones that specifically focus on the fifth game. My sister has been trying to convince me to start writing rather than just reading. I finally gave in recently when I needed something constructive to do when not working on getting out of the unemployment line. I love reviews, they really encourage me to keep writing and update sooner. Compliments are heart warning but I live for constructive criticism! So until next time here is a poem I wrote, adieu!
Poem
The Humors of Death
Death, oh that clever trickster,
That giddy, laughing prankster!
He comes for the young,
He comes for the old,
His audience doesn’t seem to matter.
The opening act is always different,
The punch line is always the same.
No matter your wealth, station or state,
His laughing humors will always find you,
And greet you in the face.
You can choose to laugh alongside,
You can choose to bow your head and cry.
Whether despair overwhelms you,
Or if acceptance and peace is your fate,
The punch line still doesn't change.
Death, oh that humorous comedian,
That inevitable, comical jester!
With courage I will shake you by the hand,
For when all the jokes have been said,
You will fall your own vices at last!
