Well ok to start with my penname is from a Van Morrison song and I just thought it was extremely fitting for me as it relates to a situation I'm currently in. My actual name is Holly, I'm from the UK and I'm 27 years old.
I have a great love for travelling, books, films, tv, sports (of any kind really) - I love doing extraordinary things like parasailing, hand gliding, scuba diving, white water rafting etc... I should say I'm a bit of an adrenalin junkie. I hate mundane things like working in a office 9-5 which I'm currently doing, however it bores me to death!
I read Twilight fanfiction, Edward/Bella fanfiction only because thats the way I roll. Edward Cullen is the reason I am in the Twilight fandom at all, without him I wouldn't even be looking at fanfiction but then I'm pretty sure without Edward there wouldn't be any books and there certainly wouldn't be any movies. Speaking of, I dislike the Twilight movies, a lot, they've made the whole series into a joke and what they've done to the romance (and Edward) is unforgiveable. But the books will always have a special place in my heart. I do however, love Robert Pattinson and believe he's the only good thing to come out of these awful movies.
I also love Renesmee. She's Edwards daughter and thats reason enough. I'm also a sucker for Dadward.
My other passion is The Hunger Games, I'm a Peeta girl all the way. I loved the movie too and its sparked my new interest into the world of Hunger Games fanfic. My favourite tv shows are Game of Thrones, Homeland, Friday Night Lights, Criminal Minds and Vampire Diaries. I love all kinds of books, some of my favourites are Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Hush Hush, If I Stay/Where She Went and recently The Passage by Justin Cronin which is amazingly epic, just everything I want in a book - post-apocolypitic, dystopian world - action, vampires, hints of romance. I'll try anything in terms of fiction but in general my favourite type is supernatural romance.
I am always on the lookout for good vampire fiction novels, I love a good vampire story and i'm lucky there are so many. If you have any recommendations, send 'em my way. Of course feel free to let me know if the author pulls a Stephanie Meyer and turns her back on her lead male character half way through the series and decides to make an annoying shit the lead. I may give that one a miss.
