I am the girl that doesn't go to school dances, or games, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book.

I am the girl that people look through when I say something.

I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal.

I am the girl that people call weird and a freak either behind my back or to my face.

I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on MySpace, or talking to a girlfriend on a cell phone or regular phone.

I am the girl that hasn't been asked out in a year.

I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain.

BUT I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn’t care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who can express herself better with words than actions, who doesn't need a guy to complete her, and knows the importance of the little things.

How to Tell if You're a Writer

If you talk to yourself.

If you talk to yourself about talking to yourself (i.e. ‘I wonder why I talk to myself so much?’)

If, when you talk to yourself, you sometimes speak as if talking to another person (i.e. ‘Okay, so have you ever noticed that the word ‘deliver’ could mean removing someone’s liver?’)

If, after uttering a profound piece of wisdom like that above, you stare at the cookie in your hand in awe and say, ‘Wow, this is good stuff for sugar highs!’

If you live off of sugar and caffeine.

If people start to notice that you tend to check your e-mail every day for a week, then suddenly disappear off the face of the planet.

If your e-mails tend to be pages long and incredibly random.

If, when replying to someone else’s e-mail, you are sometimes so random that you fail to address the original message altogether.

If, no matter where you are in your room, you never have to so much as get up to reach a pen/pencil and paper.

If the letters are starting to wear off on the keys of your keyboard.

If people (including you) think you might have A.D.D.

If you think it’d be cool to have A.D.D.

If you start constantly talking in third person, past tense.

If you think about making lists like this, and start giggling for no ‘apparent’ reason.

If your friends don’t even bother to look funny at you anymore when you start giggling for no apparent reason.

And finally, the number one way to tell if you’re a good writer: If you failed English 10.

Here's what stories I'll be doing on this site:

"Dragon Heart" – Kylana Veridian is Dovahkiin—Dragonborn. She is slowly building a reputation throughout Skyrim as a brave warrior and noble hero. That reputation is what brings Terran Fell to her. Hunted by the same people he once called family, the new Dragonborn might be his only chance of survival. Kylana agrees to help him, but soon discovers that this quest may be more than she can handle. And that there might be more to Terran Fell that she originally believed.

"Winding Path" – (Mass Effect rewrite) Terra Shepard was happy living a life on Mindoir. Everything seemed perfect to her on the colony with her family. But then Batarian slavers hit and everything changed. Sixteen-year-old Terra watched in horror from a hidden compartment as everyone she knew and loved was captured or killed. As she waited it out, scarred for life by what she witnessed, a passing cruiser came by and saw the devastation. The turians came to investigate what remained of the colony. All they found was Terra. Taking pity on the last lonely young survivor, a small turian family took her in. A family named Vakarian.

"One Last Goodbye" – COMPLETE!

"One Last Goodbye: Even When I'm Broken" – COMPLETE!

"One Last Goodbye: Through the Night" – COMPLETE!

"One Last Goodbye: Until the End" – COMPLETE!

"Shattered Requiem, Broken Shadows" – Three years. Three years since the Reaper War ended and the galaxy found some semblance of actual peace. But while the rest of civilization recovers, the crew of the Normandy still hasn't been able to move on. Not until a new threat arises and facing it draws them back together…and to someone they thought they had lost forever.

"Faded Dreams, Fallen Memories" – Three months have passed since the new threat was defeated. But one thing changed more than any other and one of the former Normandy crew members has changed more than anything else.

"Echoes" – COMPLETE!

"Adrift on Open Stars" – (inspired by the movie "If I Stay") Ella Shepard just barely survived the explosion caused by the destruction of the Reapers. She would never have survived at all if her closest friends in the galaxy hadn't scoured the wreckage on the Citadel and found her. But while her body is sent to the nearest hospital on Earth and everyone fights to keep her alive, her spirit follows behind, watching all of it. For all the choices she made in her life, this will be the hardest decision of all: should she fight her way back to the people she left behind…or should she accept her fate and rejoin the family she lost so long ago?

"Adrift on Open Stars: Through Tides of Light" – Epilogue for "Adrift on Open Stars," taking place two years later.

"Blackout" - Artemis Shepard has a lot of secrets from her time as an Earth-born orphan. None of her crew could've realized the extent of those secrets until now. When Garrus and Shepard are alone on a mission and get trapped in a cavern after a cave-in that results in a loss of power to their equipment, Garrus slowly comes to find over the course of their attempts to be rescued that Artemis has been keeping something from them all that he could never have guessed...

"Family Tree" - (Mass Effect rewrite) On April 11, 2154, Hannah Shepard gave birth to two children: Jonathan and Zoe. Both followed their parents from ship to ship, living military lives as Jonathan fostered his technical skills and Zoe discovered her biotic ability. When their father died on a mission, they resolved to follow their parents' lead and join the Alliance military. While their mother was promoted to captain, they went on a mission together to Akuze. The mission quickly turned into a disaster and their entire unit was wiped out. Jonathan Shepard was the only soldier to return to the extraction site alive, believing his sister gone for good. Zoe Shepard, however, was stranded on the other side of the planet, the first human to kill a thresher maw, and rescued by a little-known mercenary gang. Years later, when infiltrator Commander Jonathan Shepard is cast headlong into a conspiracy involving a rogue Spectre named Saren Arterius, his search for evidence of the operative's betrayal leads him to a small vigilante team run by a vanguard...named Zoe Shepard. Newly reunited, the two jump into the fight together, becoming the first human Spectres and the galaxy's best hope in the face of an apocalyptic threat. All the while, a web of romance begins to develop between the twins and their two dextro friends...

"In Time" – In the year 2306, the galaxy has been celebrating a golden age of peace for decades. At long last, the final repairs from the Reaper War have been made and every species is ensuring that their homes will remain safe for as long as possible. During the reconstruction, the Legacy Fleet was established—a series of scout ships manned by crews of every species in the galaxy. One of these ships, the Dawn Spark, is on a mission one day when they find an amnesiac named Laela…who doesn't have the hybrid physiology every inhabitant of the Milky Way has had for 120 years. As the mystery around her unravels into a complex web of conspiracy, manipulation, and newly-discovered technology, the Dawn Spark must work in secret against the next great threat to the galaxy—not an outside force, but two warring factions within.

"Star-Crossed" – (Mass Effect AU) In a reality where humanity never colonized the planet of Shanxi, Kara Shepard is living on her own on Earth. In 2176, she is 22 years old and running with a group of scavengers under Hong Kong. Her fellow scavengers refer to her as the Star-Catcher since she is known for retrieving valuable items that fall from the sky when colony supply ships crash. One night, a downed shuttle falls in the deserted area just outside of town and Kara goes to salvage it. But what she finds onboard is not supplies or even refugees. She finds an alien creature that has been wounded in battle. Taking the alien under her care, she spends the next two weeks nursing him back to health and learning everything she can about him. Then a scout ship returns to Systems Alliance Command having taken heavy damage from a ship belonging to the first alien race humanity has ever encountered. It takes Kara only five minutes to realize that this is the race her new friend belongs to. Now Kara faces a dilemma. She knows in her heart that if she can only prove to Alliance Command that these aliens are not the real enemy, a devastating war can be avoided. But how can she convince them when she's technically guilty of harboring a fugitive…one she has fallen in love with?

"Rogue Hearts" – (Mass Effect AU) Humanity has been at war with the turians for as long as Katrina Shepard can remember. She only joined the Alliance military at the height of the conflict. Now she's earned a reputation as the best sniper in the Alliance. So the Alliance trusts her with a vital mission. With both sides now trying to stamp down separatist factions that have resorted to hiring mercenaries to take out enemy officers, the Alliance brass believes this has gone on long enough. Their solution is to send "Kat" Shepard deep behind enemy lines to take the mercenaries out of the equation entirely…and the hierarchy's top generals at the same time. For a while, the plan seems like a decent idea. But everything changes when an ambush catches her…and her life is saved by a turian.

"Archangel Chronicles" – (Mass Effect AU) On the lawless world of Omega, there is one person fighting for the innocent. A vigilante known to all as Archangel. No one knows who he is, even his own team. But then a human woman by the name of Amity comes along and threatens to see through his walls. Together and apart, they embark on a series of adventures that will change Omega forever.

"SPECTRE" – (Mass Effect AU) Commander Nova Shepard has been given the honor of being named the first human Spectre—an elite operative in service of galactic peace. When she receives word that a terrorist group is hoarding strange alien technology from the time of the Protheans' mysterious extinction, she must quickly gather a crew of talented soldiers to combat the threat before it escalates to all-out war. Friendships are made, romances are born, and battle rages on. The Normandy might be the galaxy's only hope.

"Here on Earth" – Alina Valencia has been a street rat on Earth since before she can remember. She's learned every trick to surviving alone. But when a Citadel duct rat sneaks his way into her territory, she finds a challenger she never expected in the form of Magnus Zakaren. A turian. The two grow closer as their teenage years crawl by. But when the Reapers take hold of Earth entirely, they may just become a source of hope for the resistance in London. If they can survive until the war is over.

"Matters of the Heart" – Some friendly advice between Normandy crew members when love becomes hard.

"You've Got Mail" – Personal correspondence between Normandy crew members over the course of their time together.

"When Words Are Not Enough" – A series of one-shots inspired by songs that relate to specific ME couples.

"Unspoken" – When tensions rise between Shepard and Garrus, Shepard confesses something she thought she would never tell anyone else.

"Copper and Cobalt" – COMPLETE!

"No Shepard Without Vakarian" – COMPLETE!

"What If I Lost You?" – COMPLETE!

"What If I Lost Myself?" – COMPLETE!

"For You" – Mass Effect, one-shot, Garrus romance. Title says it all.

"Tales of Solana Vakarian" – Chronicles of silence. The story of Garrus Vakarian is well-known, at least to those who best know Commander Shepard. But his sister?

"Tales of a Night Demon" – Chronicles of silence. The duty of a justicar is one not taken up lightly. Few realize that the life of those they hunt is just as overwhelming.

"Tales of the Unity" – Chronicles of silence. The Normandy was not the only ship to host a crew of multiple species. It was simply the first.

"Tales of a Dark Angel" – Chronicles of silence. Commander Shepard long believed that death followed her around. She was indirectly correct.

"Loonatics Meet the Disneys" - The Loonatics meet their super-rivals, the Disney heroes. The team of anthro super descendants of Mickey Mouse and Friends (also containing six members) must now join with the Loonatics to defeat a bunch of baddies...

"Consequences" – The Justice League has fought many villains since its formation. But now they face their greatest threat yet: the Syndicate of Retribution. The Syndicate, however, isn't really concerned with the fate of the world. Their interest is focused solely on the League. On making them pay for their failures and mistakes, for those they failed to save and those the Syndicate believes they shouldn't have. This fight makes the League more desperate than ever…but also makes them question if their lives are worth this conflict. Can they hold onto hope in the midst of this madness? …or will this battle consume them?

"Bloodline" – I was conceived in a timeline that no longer exists. I was born to a mother that never met my true parents. I was orphaned at an age where I was too young to know how to fight and yet somehow still escaped certain death. I lived over a decade alone. I don't even know my name. But I know I am a Vampire Slayer. And my destiny lies with Buffy Summers and the vampire named Angel.

"Bloodline: Correction" – I was raised a soldier of the Order of Chronos. I have lived my life hunting down those who would endanger reality by meddling with temporal folds. I came here to eliminate the product of one such meddling. …she was not what I expected.

"Bloodline: Adventures of the Deviants" – A Vampire Slayer from an alternate timeline, a knight of the Order of Chronos, a half-demon Witch, and a Watcher-in-training tend to find trouble. Especially in company like the Slayer Trainers.

"Bloodline: Displacement" – Time has a way of correcting itself. We've just learned that the hard way.

"Young Slayers" – Post-Endgame and Post-Gift. Two events happened at once. Two people died at the same time. Two superhumans died at the same time, in similar ways. Midia Costa didn't know either of them, but she was never the same again. One month later, the League is inducting a new young hero to their covert ops team—a girl calling herself Codon who swears her mother was a mystic and her dad was a member of a secret magic council in England and that her pet red panda has powers, too. But when Codon's trial run mission leads them to a girl named Midia, they discover the existence of an entire magic realm composed of vampires and demons and werewolves…and that young Midia has the minds of two dead heroes trapped in her head despite the fact that their souls have supposedly both moved on. The ensuing adventure takes the Team to a little place known as Sunnydale, California…

"DC Does Disney" – Parodies of classic Disney and Pixar stories in the setting of Justice League and Teen Titans characters.

"Red X and the Outlaws" – The Titans' last mission as the Teen Titans had several repercussions. They became the Titans, Robin and Beast Boy changed their names, an old friend returned, and Red X disappeared. But when a new team of villains appears and starts giving the Justice League trouble, the six Titans of Jump City step in to lend a helping hand, whether the core seven of the League want it or not. However, complications arise even more when the leader of the Outlaws reveals himself to be Red X. The question of whether the League and Titans can work together then becomes a series of questions about their new adversaries. As the hole keeps getting deeper, the heroes become buried in it and begin to wonder if they can ever win this battle.

"Red Hood and the Mercenaries" – (sequel to "Red X and the Outlaws") Nearly two years after the Outlaws were defeated, a new enemy emerges intent on destroying the entire League as well as all the Titans. Forced to team up yet again, the core members of both groups begin to investigate the army coming after them…who seem to have intimate knowledge of their every weakness. As the war unfolds, secret after secret threatens to drive the heroes apart. Can they stick together long enough to end this? …or will this be their final battle?

"Nightwing and the Titans" – (sequel to "Red Hood and the Mercenaries") Over a year after the Mercenaries were defeated, strange things begin to happen in Jump City. One night, Nightwing leads the Titans to investigate the bizarre phenomenon only for his teammates to disappear. Forced to call on the Justice League for help, Nightwing goes on a desperate search for his team, soon to find that there is more to this situation than he ever imagined.

"Marvel and DC: Two Worlds Collide" – When two worlds draw close enough together to merge for a period of five days (while still separated by Rifts), the villains begin to scheme together to take advantage of it, forcing the heroes to team up in unexpected ways to combat it.

"Paranormal Pandemic" – When humanity made first contact with an alien race, it resulted in a war. What they didn't realize when the war ended was that it had some other unexpected results. Most diseases wouldn't be communicable across species. But vampirism spread like a wildfire. And with the Slayers still limited to a few dozen humans, it's a struggle to cross the stars to keep up.

"Red Stars: Blood of Heroes" – Two years after officially settling down, Lilly Shepard is quite indifferent to being "inexplicably bound" to a Slayer and labeled a "champion" even in the magic world she is also indifferent towards. {On Distant Shores Series}

"On Distant Shores" – (Mass Effect 3—between the Citadel DLC and Priority: Cerberus Headquarters—and Dragon Age II—shortly before Act 3) When Commander Shepard and her crew of the Normandy decide to go for one last ride before the endgame of the Reaper War, a mysterious signal sends them stumbling through time and space to a strange new world far from the galaxy they know. Now Shepard and her squad must join forces with some unlikely allies: a mage named Hawke and her companions. Together, they must find a way to defeat a new threat coming for them…and find a way to get the Normandy crewmen home before that home is gone forever.

"On Farther Shores" – It's been four years since the end of the Reaper War. In all that time, this is the first time any of the former Normandy crewmen have returned to the ship. All 14 of Commander Shepard's squad-mates come back to the ship they once called home and, on Joker's insistence, take it for one last ride. But when that ride ends, they find themselves once again in Thedas. With a new threat on the horizon, the Normandy crewmen find that their only hope of returning home lies in aiding the recently-formed Inquisition. But this may bring on more trouble than they bargained for.

"Between Shores" – Companion story, divulging the events of the four years between the first two.

"From Shores to Sky" – Anthology of events in the universes of "On Distant Shores," from long before to long after.

"On Shores Unseen" – 20 years after the war against the Dread Wolf, the Spectrum is living on a knife edge between perfect peace and falling under siege again. Aeris still stands on constant watch for another threat. But when one comes, it is not one she can face as she did before. This one will require the help of a new series of heroes.

"For All Shores Together" – (a fan-fiction of my own fan-fiction because I can; inspired by Avengers: Endgame and the Arrowverse Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover) A new threat emerges, forcing Aeris to bring together all of the heroes of the war against the Dread Wolf. This time, however, the Veil is not at risk of collapse…but of inversion.

"For One Shore Alive" – (a sequel to the fan-fiction of my own fan-fiction because I still can) 20 years after the assault on the Veil, a new generation must navigate the strange new world that resulted.
