Location: Missing the Frozen Tundra of Wisconsin. That's right, I'm a transplanted northerner. I bleed Green, Gold, Brats, and Cheese. Oh, and the UP belongs to Wisconsin...just sayin'.

About Me: I love ellipses, commas, and hyphens - just check out my stories... You'll see what I mean, lol.
*I, WENN9366, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else.
I have joined the review revolution.*
Favorite Tropes: (Because we all have them)
1. Groundhog Day - this is probably my fav when well executed
2. Forced marriage between enemies or just friends
3. Trapped together
4. Best friends falling in love
5. Characters from comedies in serious situations (just look at my fanfic, lol)
6. Amnesia fics
Least Favorite Tropes:
1. Smut. Especially pointless, plotless smut. Sorry, no can do. I have an imagination- I don't need play by play.
2. Someone's pregnant
3. Adult main characters magically become little kids
4. Main characters set in high school together (alt universe) - Okay, I confess, I sort of did this - but only for backstory purposes. I mean, for instance, Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann (of pirate fame) are in high school math class together. How does that work out??
5. Gender swaps :rolls eyes: to each his own, I guess
Disney seems to have a propensity for taking stories I love and messing them up so much that people look at you like you have 3 heads when you tell them that a book like 101 Dalmatians is one of your favorite novels (which has some beautifully descriptive imagery and isn't on a child's reading level). And don't even get me started on what they did to The Black Cauldron!
The Stand by Stephen King
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
The Hundred and One Dalmatians by Dodie Smith (not Disney's version)
The Chronicles of Prydain series by Lloyd Alexander (including The Black Cauldron, but not Disney's version)
The Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
The Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy M. Montgomery
Roget's Thesaurus - yes, I love words that much
On Writing by Stephen King
The Rats of Nimh series by Robert O'Brien (not Disney's version)
Ralph S. Mouse series by Beverly Cleary
Ships I love to read... (in no particular order)
Sherlock Holmes/Molly Hooper - (Sherlock) It's like my high school years all over again.
Jack McCoy/Claire Kincaid - (Law&Order) Claire's death killed this show's ship.
Benton Fraser/Margaret Thatcher - (Due South) Actually...Paul Gross doesn't need a leading lady. They could just stick a picture of him up on the screen and have him read the phone book.
Fred/Lizzie Cronin - (Drop Dead Fred) Come on, I know I'm not the only one thinking they should have ended up together! Check out my fanfic!
Sheldon Cooper/Penny - (The Big Bang Theory) Got dragged into watching this show, but I find love geeky nerds and Penny and Sheldon have a special connection. Shenny for the win!!
Jack Bauer/Chloe O'Brien - (24) She's his constant - always there for him. There's not many good stories for this ship, I think everyone read "The Constant" and gave up writing their own.
47/Nika - (Hitman, the movie) is a really romantic movie if you look at it from the point of view that by the end, 47 is finishing his job solely because "they'll never stop chasing you, Nika"
Jane Turnkey/Gunther - (Jane and the Dragon) are so wonderfully unique.
Scott Sherwood/Betty Roberts - (Remember WENN) My favorite show of all times - if you Google 'Linda Young' and 'WENN fanfiction', you'll read the best fanfiction ever written for this fandom.
Chance/Angie - (Strange Luck) Yeah, no one else has heard of this, either. Check out 'Harsh Realm', too, another good show with DB Sweeney as the main character which no one's heard of.
Jack O'neill/Sam Carter - (Stargate SG-1) The biggest ship on SG-1, but lately I've been liking (see below)
Cam Mitchell/Sam Carter - (SG-1) Eh, I don't know if it's really canon, maybe I've just been watching too many of MilenaDaniel's videos on YouTube.
Daniel Jackson/Vala Maldoran - (SG-1)I used to not care much for Daniel until Vala joined the cast. I could watch these two fight all day. :D
Jack Sparrow/Elizabeth Swann - (Pirates of the Carribbean)
Enos Strate /Daisy Duke - (Dukes of Hazzard) Poor Enos, Daisy strung him along for 20 years and they never ended up together, even though the writers wanted them to. Guess I'll have to write fanfic for them. (And his name is spelled STRATE, not STRAIGHT...get it straight fanfic writers!)
Raylan Givens / Boyd Crowder - (Justified) The best relationship on this show is Raylan/Boyd - in a NON-slashy way. I could watch those two argue with each other all day. All the women on the show just suck, except for Loretta (but she's only 16).
About Borrowing my Original Characters...
I have been asked about borrowing my OC characters, most notably Otis Strate. I am truly honored that my creations have inspired you. As long as credit to me (WENN9366) is given within your story, you may borrow any of my characters you wish with the exception of Sheriff Ben McKammon, the town of Babylon, Georgia, and the title "Under a Shine Moon". You may also use my stories as a springboard for your own stories. Especially in Stone and Iron, there were a lot of side plots which I didn't have time to flesh out.
The following are stories I know about which contain my OC's:
"Secrets, Bittersweet Memories, and Dolly Parton Goodbyes" - KayCee1951 explores the future of Atlanta's criminal overlord, Niki Lazarro, from Halls of Stone and Iron in Part 2 of her fanfic. It's a great Enos Strate centric read, so check it out!
"Diaries of Circle M Ranch" - Enos'sGal explores the secret backstory of Enos' father, Otis Strate, from The Story of Us in her 3-story series. Forty years of Hazzard County's secrets are tucked away in the diaries of reclusive Elizabeth O'Connell. When she passes away, she leaves her multi-million dollar estate to a shocked Enos.
"Too Many Roscos" - EmelineCarter92, mentions Otis Strate as the deceased father of Enos.
