Writing is what makes an author happy. Reviews make the author feel important. Asking for more makes the author feel needed and loved. Striving towards that feeling is part of what keeps me writing.
I prefer to write stories that are entirely my own, which is why I am also a registered user on FictionPress.com. Conveniently (I think it is, anyway), I have the same username: The Nut Tree. So if you're curious, interested in my writings, or you just want to rip on more of my stories via reviews...go check me out on FictionPress.
I am now a FanFiction Beta Reader! I will edit, offer suggestions, and even simply read/review. Just PM (Private Message) me, ask me nicely what you would like, and I'll check out your story!
I'm currently not taking on more stories at the moment, but I'll gladly read/review if you ask.
About me
I don't like to talk about myself, so I've put this off for a long time, but...yeah. Even now I continue to distract myself as I try to write this.
I am male and a highschool graduate under the vague age of twenty-five (I'm 20). I attend UW Stevens Point. I'm majoring in English (creative writing minor). I am currently working on a novel and a screenplay, plus whatever I have on FanFiction and FictionPress. Every tv show/movie/anime I see or book (or manga) I read, I am almost instantly able to create Original Characters to fit into that particular story. Unfortunately, I do not yet have the abilities to write these characters into stories in the short time I am interested in them...oh, well.
Quotes:
"I guess greed can create a monster just as well as fear can. Or is greed simply the fear of having nothing?" --Shades of Gray, chapter 2
"The reality that OC fics, even good ones, get few reviews is truly a shitty one." --TheManInTheHat (fanfiction.net)
"Never underestimate beginners; they may do something stupid enough to be brilliant." --Woodsballer (fanfiction.net)
"Being weird is the same as being different. Being different is the same as being unique. Being unique is good. Therefore, being weird is good!"
"Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game."
"No one is more dangerous than someone with nothing to lose."
The white man said, "Colored people are not allowed here."
The black man turned around and stood up.
He then said: "Listen sir...when I was born I was BLACK, When I grew up I was BLACK, When I'm sick I'm BLACK, When I go in the sun I'm BLACK, When I'm cold I'm BLACK, When I die I'll be BLACK. But you sir, When you're born you're PINK, When you grow up you're WHITE, When you're sick, you're GREEN, When you go in the sun you turn RED, When you're cold you turn BLUE, And when you die you turn PURPLE. And you have the nerve to call me colored?"
The black man then sat back down and the white man walked away... Post this on your profile if you hate racism.
