Sorry, not author on FanFiction.Net, just avid reader of Harry Potter fiction and crossovers :D

Check out my faves!

My pet peeves lately:

1 - People who don't take the time to chek Wikipedia for HP terms and names. They make my teeth hurt sometimes so bad they put me off the story.

2 - People who don't take the time to use any kind of spell chek interface, and don't tell me it's not easy to find such software free on the net! It makes me feel as if you don't care about your story as you don't care how it looks. Take pride in your work, make it better any time you can.

3 - Authors who put so many AN in a chapter that it could be a chapter all by itself (the AN, I mean). Frankly, if it is repeated in many chapters (yes, I've seen it) then put it in your profile. Of course, if it's a rant, once is enough and then you can say "hey you, yeah you stupid, read the AN in chapter xxx. You don't deserve me wasting any more time on you (insert Malfoyesque sneering face)". Not taken into account those authors who actually dedicate a whole chapter to notes they consider important.

I have read beautiful stories, good stories, not so good stories. Even horrible ones too. I only ever gave positive feedback or constructive. I have also always thought about how I would feel receiving my feedback. If it wasn't something I would care to receive, I simply didn't send anything. I work on the principle, if you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say anything. I don't like the story, I don't read it. What I do like to do though is read samples from first tries to latest ones. And hope there is progress in the style. If yes, I persevere and keep with the author. If not, well, there are so many out there I haven't tried yet :)
