When Din ends up on the wrong side of the Republic, Grogu arrives too late to stop the inevitable. **Major character death.**

6 Connection **Spoilers for Season 2** Din kept the genuine, soft smile as he tipped Grogu closer like he was going to tell him a secret. Managing to keep most of the sorrow out of his tone, he quietly said, "Alright pal, it's time to go. Don't be afraid." This is a story about what Din was thinking at the end of the season finale.

Fatefully, he asked Beck to put them on and as soon as he saw him, Peter couldn't avoid the plan that formed. And the painful memories it dredged up.
