In Flanders Fields
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
Colonel John McCrae
You Reading This, Be Ready
Starting here, what do you want to remember?
How sunlight creeps along a shining floor?
What scent of old wood hovers, what softened
sound from outside fills the air?
Will you ever bring a better gift for the world
than the breathing respect that you carry
wherever you go right now? Are you waiting
for time to show you some better thoughts?
When you turn around, starting here, lift this
new glimpse that you found; carry into evening
all that you want from this day. This interval you spent
reading or hearing this, keep it for life -
What can anyone give you greater than now,
starting here, right in this room, when you turn around?

Notes: Pairing: Harry/Lisa Fukuyama Yukinari/Miharu
Summary (Tentative): Annoyed at the lack of contact following the Triwizard Tournament's end, Harry goes to the Goblins, intending to make one last withdrawal before leaving the Wizarding World, when he learns something surprising. In a new country with a house full of House-Elves, what can happen? Will he find love or will Wizarding Britain drag him back into the chaos?
Summary notes: Yes it sucks, that's why I'll probably change it as I advance the story.
I have numerous other new stories I'm working on. I know I know, I should finish the ones I've already published, but I can't help where my muse takes me.
