I often read Harry Potter and Naruto FanFiction.

I won’t enjoy myself unless it is COMPLETE, longer than 100,000 words long, and in English (sadly, that’s the only language I can read).

I enjoy a plot I can’t see coming and unique ideas. I’ve read FanFiction since 2008. I don’t know what I’ll do when people stop posting Naruto and Harry Potter fanfics. Pick up a new book, I guess.

I’ve enjoyed a few crossovers but they’re never completed and it’s aggravating. I usually don’t read incomplete FanFictions for this reason.

I usually comment on a FanFiction once I’m done reading it. Anytime before that is usually to correct an error that has been bothering me. I’d do that more often, but FanFiction.net’s rules on commenting make it clunky and difficult to do. I don’t enjoy losing my place in a chapter.

I also don’t usually like it when a character’s sex is changed—especially to force some pairing.

I’ve read one or two “gender bender” FanFictions in the past that I thoroughly enjoyed. But it has kept me from even downloading several.

Thank you all for taking your time to write FanFiction. You’re all amazing and some of you surpass the cannon versions of Harry Potter and Naruto.
