So, a little bit about me...

I'm a wife, a mom to three great kids (1 boy, 2 girls)...My son thinks my love for Robert Pattinson is funny, while my daughters think its gross...I believe the words "pasty" and "ewww" are in the same sentence...

And yeah, I'm a sportswriter. Been one for more than 20 years and I have two worn-out suitcases and a vote for the Baseball Hall of Fame to show for it. I've covered sports in Southern California my entire career, but our family is Boston Celtics fans -- go figure?

As for fanfiction, I've been reading it for about 10 years. I started with X-Files fanfiction and still pledge undying heartbeats to David Duchovny.

Looking for a movie to watch one night, my husband said, "Oh, Twilight is on. The girls at school seem to like it." He should have known, sneaky little high school teacher that he is, that I would fall hard for Edward Cullen. After all, my husband kinda looked like him back in the day. Just sayin'. Something about messy hair and green eyes.

While I have been a professional writer for years, I have never attempted writing my own fanfiction. I guess too many years of dealing in facts and quotes -- telling other people's stories.

But, the editor in me loves reading great fanfiction. I have listed some of my favorites and will continue to add to the collection. Who the hell knows? Maybe someday I'll even attempt to write fiction. We'll see.
