Much Ado About Anime:
I've been watching anime for what seems like a very long time. I remember the first anime I ever saw was Ranma 1/2. I was 12 years old and I couldn't understand why there were naked people in a cartoon. Heh. When I was younger my favorite anime was Project A-ko. I loved the fact that A-ko was this pretty girl who was super strong and didn't take crap from anyone. I've been on since 2002 so I'm certainly not new here. I've only authored one story (which I have since deleted). I racked up close to 200 reviews which completely baffled me due to the fact that my story should have been posted in some sort of reference guide of "What NEVER to do when you write fanfiction".
Blue Glowstick:
I am not an author by any means. I typically just jot down little one-shots of animes I've enjoyed and want to explore different plots of. As you can tell, none of these little one shots have ever made it onto FF whether due to my own laziness or just the sheer embarrassment of how ridiculous the fic appears to be.
I'm sure it's no surprise that a majority of the fics I read are based on anime series. I'm not a fan of crossovers and I'm a bit wary of AU unless it's incredibly well-written. I can't stand Mary Sue or OC's. Het, Yaoi and Yuri are all okay by me. Tastefully written lemons are always a plus although I'm not opposed to a little literary smut every now and again.
A few of my favorite pairings:
Vampire Knight
Kaname x Yuuki
Kaname x Zero
Zero x Yuuki
Bleach
Grimmjow x Ichigo
Byakuya x Rukia
Inuyasha
Sesshomaru x Rin
DBZ
Vegeta x Pan
A side note about grammar
While I am far from a "grammar nazi", I do feel the world would be a better place if we could keep a few things in mind:
There, They're and Their: These three are not interchangeable just because they all sound the same.
"There is a zombie on our lawn! Call 911!" "The police said they're going to kill the zombie!" "The police pulled out their guns and shot the zombie!"
Your and You're: Once again, just because they sound the same doesn't mean they're the same word.
"Your mom is smoking hot man!" "You're the worst kind of friend dude."
Also remember to capitalize your I's and spellcheckspellcheckspellcheck!
Anyway, just figured I'd do the profile introduction thing. Feel free to PM me.
