I like OCs in stories, so long as they aren't TOO Mary Sue/Gary Stu-ish (unless they are that way for humor purposes). I sometimes read fanfiction for manga/comics and anime/cartoons that I've never read/watched before, if I like the characters. During those times, I often look up their (the anime, manga, cartoon, or comic's) wikia page, and look at the character profiles so that I can understand what's going on. :)
