Main Characters

The Chosen Children

The Chosen Children are chosen from a pool of potential DigiDestined gathered by Ophanimn to combat the corrupt Cherubimon. These children have no Digimon partners. Instead, they use the Spirits of the Ten Legendary Warriors, deceased Digimon heroes who saved the Digital World of this series in its ancient past, to transform into Digimon themselves. Because of this, they are also known as the Legendary Warriors.

Takuya Kanbara

The typical 'goggle boy' in the series and unofficial leader of the group. Very energetic, athletic with a hot-headed attitude to top it all off. Often times, he fights with his friends and chucks a few insults when he's not thinking. He has a strong sense of justice, and does everything he can to do the right thing. His stubbornness sometimes gets him into trouble, which results in reckless behavior and poor decision making. However, he fights for what he believes in and for the safety of his friends; preferably none other than his best friend, Zoe Orimoto.

Ever since his first adventure in the Digital World, he sees Zoe in the light of one of his closest friends. He is willing to do things for her he probably might no do for others. It is implied that Takuya has some sort of emotions regarding Zoe, after their little 'fiasco' with her in Ophanimon's Castle. But since then, his feelings toward her slowly blossomed into a small crush. As the story progresses, Takuya found himself growing closer and closer to Zoe until he was able to see that he was falling in love with her. After confessing their feelings, the two shared each other their very first kiss.

Takuya wields the Spirits of Flame, giving him unmatched courage and strength whenever he goes into battle.

Digimon Battlefront's third-in-command and one of the few females in the group. Snobbish, arrogant and more concerned about her appearance than the mission. Ever since Takuya has returned to the Digital World, Beautymon has found herself emotionally attached to him. Her obsessive personality has made Zoe jealous and thus the two have become bitter rivals for Takuya's affection.

Beautymon makes her goal to be together with Takuya, while knock off Zoe at the same time. Takuya would respond to Beautymon's flirtatious attempts either with shyness or being uncomfortable. Zoe, however, did not like Beautymon being so close to her best friend. The two would constantly fight one another to gain the attention and affection of Takuya. Sometimes, their fights would get out of hand, which would lead to some disastrous situations.

As the Bearers of Flame and Wind grew closer together, Beautymon felt herself drifting away from Takuya. After Zoe was captured by Malevomon, she tried to take advantage of her feelings. But Takuya was more focused on rescuing Zoe. When the two were reunited, something inside Beautymon snapped. She tried to sabotage their relationship, but that resulted in her ending up in the Containment Room.

From there, she was reunited with Malevomon. He manipulated Beautymon to help him take over both of the Digital World and the Human World. In exchange, the evil emperor would fulfil Beautymon's greatest desire: make Takuya hers, and to get rid of Zoe for good. Beautymon then betrayed her comrades and joined Malevomon in invading the Human World. She was in charge to take over the southern part of the country.

However, Beautymon got a huge surprise when Zoe returned to stop her from helping Malevomon take over the Human World. Her presence, on the other hand, also told Beautymon that Takuya has also came back to the Human World. With an opportunity presenting itself, the traitor challenged Zoe to a one-on-one deathmatch, where the winner gets to keep Takuya all to herself. The Bearer of Wind accepted and the fight was scheduled the following day.

Before the battle began, Beautymon tied Takuya down just so he doesn't interfere or help Zoe. The Bearer of Wind initially thought that they were going to have a one-on-one fight. But Beautymon had an army of Evilemon to help her. Zoe fought off all of Beautymon's subordinates and managed to gain the upper hand. However, the traitor finally got serious and used the extra power Malevomon has given her to Digivolve into Behemomon.

But JetSilphymon eventually came out on top. With almost all of her strength gone and in no condition to fight, Beautymon demanded her opponent to finish her off since she doesn't want to be seen in such an ugly state. Instead, JetSilphymon decided to spare Beautymon's life and live with this defeat. Beautymon begged one last time to her 'Cutie' to take her back. But Takuya put the nail in the coffin and ended all of Beautymon's chances of ever winning him.

Realizing that she will never be with the Bearer of Flame, something inside Beautymon cracked. If she can't have him, then no one can. Beautymon charged toward her 'Cutie' with a dagger, determined to end his life. But JetSilphymon intervened and saved her boyfriend. But while she had an easy time defeating Kazemon, Zephyrmon put up more of a fight. But the Beast of Wind didn't realize that she was helping Behemomon achieve her secondary form. And by the time Takuya warned his girlfriend, it was too late.

Believing that she had took care of her opponent, Behemomon went back to the Bearer of Flame for some 'private time.' However, it turns out that the Bearer of Wind refuse to stay down. Despite all of her attempts to make sure that the blonde beauty never stands up again, Zoe doesn't quit and continues to fight for Takuya, regardless of how much pain she was in. Behemomon would've finished off the Bearer of Wind, if Swiftmon and the Celestial Rookies hadn't shown up.

Thanks to Zephyrmon, Behemomon achieved her secondary form and went right on the attack. The Beast of Wind never stood a chance and was defeated mercilessly. After Behemomon stole the Beast Spirit, she continued with her assault on Kazemon. After beating the stuffing out of Kazemon and obtaining the final Legendary Spirit, Behemomon dragged Zoe away to finish her off and have her revenge.

But when Zoe transformed into JetSilphymon, she had leveled the playing field. Even in her Beast Mode, Behemomon wasn't able to defeat the Hybrid of Wind.
