I was told ever since I was young that i have an old soul -maybe that was why my parents gave me a merriam-webster college dictionary when I was nine as a souvenir from their travels abroad (HK and SK) and was actually forced to read 1st year HS english books aloud back then (honestly I still don't know what went through their heads considering my fave subjects were math and science not english)

but probably because of that I'd been a consummate reader- I don't mind reading anything with grammatical errors as long as I find it interesting, thought evoking and emotionally captivating. Throughout the years I've found that I've been a convert to pairings that usually I totally would have not expected to love, yet here I am totally loving the so called most unconventional of pairings not in canon just because of the artfully written works posted on this site. I have been reading through thousands of stories of different genres and fandoms that started from animes, to books and to tv series for almost 8 yrs now and it has been my constant companion no matter how busy my day gets. Honestly it had become a large part of my life that it even came to a point where it saddens me whenever a story that I've been so emotionally invested in has not yet been updated for years. This is also where I've discovered my love for yuri in all it's rainbow colored glory.

It never ceases to amaze me though how different authors amateur or not, around the world would use their overtly excessive imagination to take the characters that you love in various settings and make it still epic all the same. Stories that can even surpass the ones made by already published authors and their oh so predictable scenarios.

This is where I fell in love with stories and words.

Favorite pairings

BellaMione (despite the age difference the authors makes it work in each of their own way without any hint of it being cringe worthy; Bellatrix extremely complements Hermione as she challenges her in every little aspect- the both of them being the brightest witch of their age as primary example)

occasionally NatNao

even ShizNatNao or the Au older AllyssaNat that eventually becomes ShizNat

Somehow it doesn't seem right if Natsuki doesn't end up with Shizuru.. I get this heavy feeling in my chest that would not go away

I love Natsuki that is all.. She's so adorably cute and sexy all at the same time..haha and here I'm priding myself of being a realist...

YuiAzu (the time when I've discovered the wonders of yuri lol) and zombies (discovered my fondness of reading zombie/apocalyptic stories in this fandom although it was too tragic an end).

Faberry -well their interactions have always been way too heated in canon for a simple rivalry over an indecisive man child who occasionally says insensitive, idiotic things... In any case the subtext is painfully obvious that it leaves you baffled at how such a story line ended the way it did...

Golly (rookie blue) -Gail is such an interesting character that has parallels with Quinn in a sense that they've been dealt with a heavy hand by life, braving through all of it; overshadowed by their siblings; unable to live up to their parents expectations and whose characters hasn't been explored deeply enough in canon.

Seeing/reading the authors' take, on such complex characters leaves me in awe at their creativity.

at times Julyberry - oh cmon rachel's comment on cassie's abs being greater than brody's has to count for something

still under trial Twilight: Bellice, BellaxJane, BellaxRosalie etc

Hermione x (Fleur, Ginny, Cissy or Pansy)

KyokoxSayaka cute/ great doujins

het pairings where I first started... the age before I discovered yuri

sometimes HitsuRuki from Bleach

Mogami kyouko/Ren or Hikaru from skip beat

ZorRobin from One Piece
