7 Dawn of Darkness: Rising of the Sword Hero Following Gou's capture of Scorbunny, the Research Fellows remain in Galar a bit longer thanks to their flight back to Kanto getting delayed. Which leads to the two meeting the younger brother of the region's Champion, a regional variant of Serena, one of the Legendary Pokémon of Galar, and two new (and very unusual) Pokémon to join Ash's team.

2Versus Virgil: Vertress Victory » Alternate Title: Or How The Black & White Anime Should Have Ended. Ash gets his battle with Virgil like we all deserved, Palpitoad gets some deserved screen time, a bunch of Eeveelutions pass a stick around, Scraggy makes a reference, Trip realizes he was never considered an actual rival by Ash, Stephan is happy he is though, and Alder's scared of a little girl. No Virgil tag.

5 A Raid Battle Ruined by Egomania Gou's attempt to capture Zapdos is foiled not by Team Rocket forcing him to fight the Legendary by himself, but by the intrustion of a certain Fire/Flying-Type with a bone to pick with the Legendary Birds of Kanto. He is less than amused his dream to catch Mew has a sudden obstacle in the form of his newest friend's own Pokémon. (Third part of my Journeys AU series.)

5Ash and Gou's Alola Adventures First chapter summary: Ash re-earns his Fightinium Z, adds a new Pokémon to his team, Gible gets a win, Go's collection increases, and for a bonus scene: Charizard 'helps' a Dragon at the end of his rope. 29Alola League Victors » Ash faces a different form of adversity early on in the Alola League as he is pitted against his classmates. Regardless of having to be the one who ruins his friend's fun time at the League, Ash is determined to show the Alola Region what an aspiring Pokémon Master is capable of.
