Hands-down THE BEST Naruto fanfiction I have read to-date is "Eroninja" by "TheLemonSage". Unfortunately it has been removed multiple times by FF. It is available at ficwad.

Things which make me not want to read a Fanfiction in the order I feel repulsed by the idea:

- Yaoi

- Female Naruto

- Sasuke/Hinata

- Naruto/Sakura (single pairing)

- Naruto/Ino (single pairing)
