Find me on Stealthy Stories (IDK why, but the link doesn't show up on my computer. If it's the same for you, just search "Stealthy Stories"): http:///forum108.html
I'm Back!!!!! Hey all! I know it's been awhile, but I'm kinda sorta back. I beat my depression and life is going good. I just miss this site and community so much, so here I am. :D My goal is to write a little each day inbetween graduate studies and work. Chapters will likely be short so I can post more frequently. My primary focus will be on NIU. God bless!
I post updates on my profile regarding story(s) progress whenever there's something new to report on. But if you ever have a question, feel free to drop me a PM.
"COMING SOON" STATUS:
So many stories are sitting on my computer, done or nearly so; thus I thought I'd offer a progress report on those, just for fun. :) ...and to motivate myself to actually get them out instead of sitting on them, as now their existence is known. Nothing like accountability to keep you focused lol
It Ends Tonight: 1732/6000 words
The Worms Crawl In: 4487/6000 words
No Day As Dark: Part one - Finished ... Part two: 50% complete ... Part three: Not yet started
Lesson: 659/1000-ish words. Just needs an ending, really.
Full list of "coming soon" stories are listed below. Most have summaries attached. Can't wait to get these pieces out to y'all! :D
Progress on WATCH ME BURN

2013 TMNT fanfic competition: A Tangent of the Strangest Kind was nominated for Best Canon. Over Cocoa was nominated for Best Tradgedy/Angst and Best Sad Ending, and The Last Thread of Sanity was nominated for best multi-chapter.
None of my stories placed in the competition, but it's still such a huge honour to be nominated. Thank you! And mega big congrats to the winners! Y'all are amazing!

Chapter 5 of BBVX's incredible story Simple
Coming soon: 6:
No Day As Dark: Splinter keeps watch over his ailing son in what he fears are his last hours. But summer is near, and hope hangs around the father's heart that maybe, just maybe, it can be the saviour against the cold and sickness, as it had been so many times before. Requested by 'Starscream's Biglover'.
The Bugs Crawl In:Intent on revenge after falling victim to one of Mikey's prank, Raphael leads his brothers to an abandoned building on Halloween night. He never expected things to backfire like this... but thanks to good old turtle luck, he now faces an opponent who knows his every fear. A DARK piece.
It Ends Tonight: Entombed with an enemy who has nothing left to lose, one is hard pressed not to break.
Lesson: Oneshot. Mikey teaches Leo a lesson. Leo doesn't know if he should be impressed by his brother's perceptiveness, or terrified by what he learns from it.
Nothing Is Unbreakable AU Series: Title in progress. Summary is progress. This will be a series of alternative versions of NIU. Everything from different endings, chapters and short scenes that won't make it into the current version. Ideas and demands are welcome here, anything you'd like to see, just feel free to PM me them and I'll do my best to write them.
(Untitled): Summary in progress. Set after the events of the 2007 movie.
Stories: 9:
The Found: Sister one-shot to "The Lost." In which the events of said fic are told through the eyes of the brother.
Enough: ONESHOT. A father laments what he has lost. (Nominated for Best Splinter in Stealthy Stories' 2014 comp)
The Lost: ONE-SHOT. The gaze beneath the hood sought him out as he struggled. It was as menacing as it was mesmerizing. It called him away from the grave. It promised him rest. He felt the fatigue in his bones now, where before there was none. It dragged through him like a dagger, leaving him gaping and hollow; it drained him of his strength as only blood loss could ...Life and death, then
A Tangent Of The Strangest Kind: It's Friday night; the moon is high, the lowlifes are plentiful, and Raphael should be busting their heads with Casey Jones right about now, but the man is no where to be found. And the red masked turtle's search for his friend is about to take a tangent of the strangest kind. Just a OneShot that popped into my head after stumbling onto a Stealthy Stories challenge forum. ;D
Over Cocoa: OneShot. "The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone. -H. B. Stowe"... "...What did you do, Raph?" Amber eyes fell. Could he get out of this? Could he just stand up and walk out? Go topside for a few... days, maybe. One look as Leonardo, and Raphael knew that weeks wouldn't wane his determination. But couldn't Leo see this was killing him?
Watch Me Burn: With the existence of mutants revealed, the world was suddenly swallowed in flames. No place was left untouched by the blaze and the lives of both humans and mutants alike spiralled into chaos. This was the life that tore the turtles apart when they were just tots and it is the life they have learned to survive in. But together, it will be the life they rise above to become…heroes.
It's finally up! Check out this new story co-written by ThisCatalyst'sPen, TheThirdAetas and myself, your RedWritingRebel:

Nothing is Unbreakable: A brutal battle in a warehouse stir tension amongst the brothers. 2 weeks later that tension erupts in an epic fight between Raph and Leo; resulting in the red-clad turtle storming off. Suffering from unrelenting insomnia and deepening depression, he is ambushed and easily defeated... now the only question left for his brothers is: is he alive? Warning: Dripping with angst and bloody good violence.
The cover was made by ThisCatalyst'sPen (an incredible writer whose work you should check out. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!). Isn't it awesome? And isn't she awesome for making it? Shell yeah! ;)
Seeing Red: A drabble: EXPANDED! Yes, that's right, it is no longer 'just one little drabble I wrote after reading notawordsmith's drabble-a-day challenge bonus round', I'm writing more drabbles! Nothing above 500 words, I promise.. . . . It wasn't new to him, seeing red. No, it happened all the time, the haze of anger glazing over everything and riddling away his control . . includes notes on N.I.U.
This beautiful cover was made by TheThirdAetas, check out her incredible work! Cause it is amazing and so is she :D
The Last Thread Of Sanity: It was a mistake he can't even remember. A slip that spiraled into a dangerous freefall. Now Raphael's very sanity dangles by threads. And not even his family can help him when the fraying rope finally snaps and he finds himself battling his own evils. A land of memories, a realm of nightmares, hell itself... wherever it is, he's alone there. Alone and dying... Isn't he?
