Hey! Im Aisuru Hondoo!(not my real name. deal with it!) It means loving flame, which kinda explains how i act. Im caring for m select group of friends but I kinda have a short temper meaning Ill give you and earful or I storm off somewhere else. I havent really one this before but when I read a couple 20 fictions I though 'Hey, why sont I try this?!' So here I am trying to entertain you all.

fanfiction: stories written by fans of a certain book/TV show/movie/game/cartoon/etc. about that...thing's...characters, plot, world, etc. Often shortened to "fanfic" or "fic" or "ff."

fandom: the characters/plot/general obsession over that book/TV show/movie/game/cartoon/etc.

airing: the romantic couple involved in a fanfiction or fandom, usually denoted by "x" or "/" or just by connecting names*

hip: v. to obsess/fanboy/fangirl over or really really like a pairing

OTP: stands for "one true pairing"--means your favorite pairing or the best one you can think of

yaoi: Japanese term for boy-on-boy love, usually involves some kind of sexual situation

slash: term for boy-on-boy love

shounen-ai: Japanese term for boy-on-boy love, usually simple and innocent--limited to holding hands, kissing, etc.

yuri: Japanese term for girl-on-girl love, usually involves some kind of sexual situation

shoujo-ai: Japanese term for girl-on-girl love, usually simple and innocent--limited to holding hands, kissing, etc.

AU: stands for "Alternate Universe," means the fanfiction involves the characters of the fandom in a different world/dimension/situation

canon: 1. adj means that whatever is being described actually happens in the official fandom.

crack: describes fanfiction that is crazy or out of the normal, written purely for fun because it's not supposed to make sense. May also be used to describe pairings of people who would never actually get together in the real series

luff: describes really cute romance/friendship/family scenes.

lime: describes implied sexual situations

lemon: describes actual sexual situations

OC: stands for "original character," used in the ff context when the author inserts his/her own unique character into the canon

OOC: stands for "out of character," means that in a fic a character acted/spoke a certain way that he/she normally wouldn't in the actual canon (note: do not confuse with the term above!)

Mary Sue: a female OC who's so perfect it's unbelievable and disgusting [AVOID]

Gary Stu: a male OC who's so perfect it's unbelievable and disgusting (rarer than Mary Sues) [AVOID]

centric: means that the fic is centered around a certain character(s), focusing on that character's development/thoughts/life/etc.; can also imply that a certain character is being pursued romantically by multiple people in the fic
