Hello all,
Thank you for checking out my profile.
I think the most important thing for you to know about me is that I am a reader. I can read for hours on end in a day. I’ll read anything from horribly trashy romance novels to super spiritual new age type books. If you put it in front of me I will surely give it a go.
I’d say there are two books that really shaped me as a person. They are so near and dear to me that they are actually in my office at work. They provide daily comfort and are beautiful reminders of what life should be.
They are;
“... and she loved a boy very, very much-- even more than she loved herself.”
― Shel Silverstein, The Giving Tree
“So be sure when you step, Step with care and great tact. And remember that life's A Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and percent guaranteed) Kid, you'll move mountains.”
― Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!
I think both of those stories define me better than I could ever define myself. They are hope, they are growth, they are kindness, they are childhood, and most of all they are love.
Now that you know me a little better I’d like to give you a piece of advice. Keep reading and if you are writer keep writing. Never ever stop creating; never ever lose your beautiful imagination. To lose that is to lose a big piece of yourself!
And remember be kind to those who posts stories. It’s very difficult to put your characters and your ideas out into the world.
Happy Reading Everyone!
