"The Infinite Monkey Theorem states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type a given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare.

In this context, "almost surely" is a mathematical term with a precise meaning, and the "monkey" is not an actual monkey, but a metaphor for an abstract device that produces a random sequence of letters and symbols ad infinitum. The relevance of the theory is questionable—the probability of a monkey exactly typing a complete work such as Shakespeare's Hamlet is so tiny that the chance of it occurring during a period of time even a hundred thousand orders of magnitude longer than the age of the universe is extremely low (but not zero).

Variants of the theorem include multiple and even infinitely many typists, and the target text varies between an entire library and a single sentence. The history of these statements can be traced back to Aristotle's On Generation and Corruption and Cicero's De natura deorum, through Blaise Pascal and Jonathan Swift, and finally to modern statements with their iconic typewriters. In the early 20th century, Émile Borel and Arthur Eddington used the theorem to illustrate the timescales implicit in the foundations of statistical mechanics."

That's me. What I hope to be, anyway. If I keep writing, maybe I'll churn out something good.

Anyways, some of you may know me as the guy that began several mediocre OC stories, and shortly afterwards deleted them. Hopefully, I can stop hating everything I write on the next few tries.

Currently struggling between all of the work I've been putting off for months and the Camp NaNoWriMo project some masochistic part of me has decided to try. That project is Teaching Bravery, a fanfiction with info below.

What I'm Doing Now:

Aside from playing around with some original poetry and trying to psyche myself up to finish an almost-there original short story...

Teaching Bravery: Harry Dresden as the Fourth Year Defense professor at Hogwarts. Thus far it has been very Dresden-focused, though I am debating writing some chapters from Potter's perspective, or maybe even some other characters.

Responsible for the Impossible: Dresden in Westeros, as the lord of a minor northern house that answers to the Manderlys, and the Starks. Will feature short chapters more geared towards showing how Dresden elements exist in the Game of Thrones World. Likely will focus on lore from the show rather than the ASoIaF novels, as the show (in spite of its flaws in lore) is easier to follow for someone currently wrapped up in reading The Lord of the Rings for the first time through. We'll see where the plot goes!

The Disney Files: Practice for me in writing Romance and female leads, mostly, as I am inexperienced in both, and think that Romance is a fun side thing to have in any story with potential for it, if only as something to play with, and that writing good female characters is important if I ever want to write a story with more than one character well-characterized in it.

No Other Projects Planned

My probably-loyal readers, all that I ask, nay, DEMAND of you in return for my writing is that should I ever unironically put 'Don't like? Don't read!' on anything, that you kill me in the most painful and least merciful way you can think of.

A great man once said... Author's profiles should be short, sweet, and to the point. That man was me. I think. Probably. Anyways, see ya!

Good Luck, and Happy FanFic-ing!

Fun fact, I have a Pa treon! (Spaced wrong so Fanfiction won't send it to the void) Seeing as my posts are so infrequent/sporadic, I am not charging on a monthly basis, instead opting for a 'by post' payment method. Everything I write will stay free until and unless I publish anything original, so there's no need to give me anything, but I figured I'd put it up. If I get to a point where I write and post regularly, I may change to a monthly basis, but I will try to alert any Patrons to the fact sooner rather than later. Thanks for reading, and stay awesome!

Remove spaces to get there, and feel free to ignore the dang thing!
