Hi everyone, my name is Gen!

I've been reading fanfictions for a while now, and I love this community! The stories are so diverse and original. A lot of them are so well written and beautiful.

I think that it's a wonderful website for aspiring authors that want to have constructive criticism from their public. It encouraged me to "get out there" and write my own fanfics! I've always had numerous ideas (or plot-bunnies) for the HP Fandom, but never really got around to writing or publishing them, partly because I'm quite an impatient writer and a bit of a perfectionist. And I'm hoping that this will change!

Victory Day is my first serious fanfiction. I love fics that try to understand the workings of the Wizarding World and that try to expand on its culture. Funnily enough, I found that most of those are of Harry joining the Dark side or becoming neutral. In Victory Day, Harry isn't dark, but he's maybe a bit too insecure and he's fascinated with powerful and confident individuals. We will see where that will lead him, hehe.

I also did a rather silly HP/HP slash oneshot in French years ago on a friend's profile, and it got, for what it was, a good reception (2 reviews that told me it was quite original and interesting, hum! Open-minded people :P).

My first language is French, so please be lenient and I apologise in advance for any mistake I'll make!
