Right I can understand that for quite a bit of new authors sutch little thing like research might look quite pointless but sometimes effect of lacking sutch thing is just a disaster. Oh and creating thing from your ass just to create possiblity for parring or creation of plot (and in beetwen creating Garry or Marry Sue) is even worse then lack of research.
