I'm just a guy with a thing for Evangelion. That's not very odd here, is it?

To elaborate a bit, I'm a fan of anime in general (big surprise, I guess) and Evangelion in particular. But there are a lot of the canon I dislike: there are many coincidences that create a contrived hostile environment, where no-one can see beyond their noses and fail to ask the proper questions. But it's okay, I guess.

As for me? I'm a nondescript corporate drone creating software for rich corporations to keep their data and operations safe. They don't deserve such beautiful code, but I digress.

My current project:

Peacetime Warrior: unlike most fics, where Shinji gets over 9000 and kicks ass or is even more depressed and angsty, he asks a simple question and begins to doubt the true motives of NERV. Instead of finding dedication, he finds that everyone, even himself has petty motivations and not fighting might be the solution he's looking for.
