I guess it's a bout time that I posted this Profile.
I am 46 years old, and remember the Blizzard of 1978.
I live in New England, and have all of my life.
I love Role Playing Games (Table Top), as well as some Video Games.
I read A LOT! I am a read-a-holic. There, I've admitted it, but I DON'T want to be cured.
I read mostly Sci-Fi and Fantasy. Mysteries and Action Genres are also popular with me.
I have been reading comics for a long time. I even once had a very, very, very low number Batman. It was a Mystery with Batman figuring out whodunnit: Women were killed, but each husband had an air tight alibi. It turns out that they killed each other's wives as part of a plot to be rid of their own wives without divorcing them. The Bat caught them out and gave the proof to the cops. It had a cover price of ten cents.
I also had many X-Titles, and enjoyed them all.
Now I am mostly interested in X-Men: Evolution, and Justice League.
Books that I love:
P.N. Elrod's Vampire Detective Series.
Dragon Riders of Pern (I grew up on this!)
The Destroyermen Series by Taylor Anderson
1632 Series by Eric Flint
Rogue Squadron Series
The Bolo Series by Keith Laumer
The Legion of the Damned Series by William C. Dietz
Anything written by John Ringo
The Amber Series by Roger Zelazny
There are two books who's Authors I have forgotten, because these are OLD books and I have not seen them in a few DECADES:
Spaceling: A girl finds that she can slip into other dimensional worlds. When she does, she Evolves into a form that can survive there. She is a Muter.
Brainwaves: One day EVERYONE starts getting much smarter. So do all other Mammals...For examples; A) A young boy INVENTS brand new MATHEMATICS THAT WORK! B) An animal figures out what goes on in the slaughter house...Oh dear.
There are MANY other books that I love. I may add them in particular to this list as I think of them.
Most Action/Adventure/Sci-Fi/Fantasy films work for me. Occasionally horror. To really scare me, tell me a Politician has become immortal and will keep running for office! Eeek!
My taste in music is dictated by my mood of the moment. Everything from Classical to Heavy Metal, to Country, to Classic Rock, to Pop, to Jazz (Every Saturday and Sunday night from 9-midnight, it's Jazz in the Evening on 88.9 FM in Boston).
I have only my stories as my children, of which I am rather sad. I would have liked a son and a daughter..Oh well.
