I love being spirited away into a world where the fantastic is possible. A world of epic love stories, resplendent magics, and inconceivable evil.

I also love reading the not so mystical. A beautifully orchestrated study of the more base, primitive, and dark sides of humanity. Stories without magic. Stories that depict the emotional and physical suffering; stories that let us know that we are not alone.
