I am wolfenergy17 (as you can tell by the name of this profile) and I am a female in her early twenties. I love playing video games, reading, watching YouTube videos of others playing video games, watching T.V. shows, and being outside (preferably with a book in hand). I love unique OC's and long ass stories that have their own plots and which are not stories where someone just puts another character in the story-line/episode. I will read those types of stories, hell I will give practically ANY story a chance, but if I am going to stay interested in a story and not get bored, I need some content that I haven't already read/seen/know. I need to read things that someone has made from scratch with their own imagination. With those concepts, I will be hooked.
If I start Following your story, you got my attention and interest. I will be eagerly awaiting each and every one of your updates. I really don't expect an author to update their story on a regular basis and schedule, although I am extremely glad if they do. I realize that this site is a place to update stories that one writes as a hobby, and that the authors on this website do not, in any way, profit financially or professionally by posting their story here. So, I look at each and every update as a present to complete strangers!
I really love the community on this site, and I get so excited when I see a new PM in my inbox. If you want to chat, don't be shy to send me a message; I'm up for conversing about pretty much anything. I always try to check my inbox every few days, so I should reply to any PMs fairly quickly. Fair warning though, when it comes to Fanfiction, I do pretty much everything on my cell phone's browser, so there are bound to be a few spelling mistakes. I do try to write in complete sentences with proper grammar, but nothing's set in stone when it comes to using a touch keyboard on a tiny screen...
I am going to recommend some book series that I have known about for a while and they are finally getting the attention they deserve. There is a movie adaptation in planning or already done for almost each of these series. They are The Maximum Ride series by James Patterson, The Maze Runner series by James Dashner, the Beautiful Creatures series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, The Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld, The Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth, and The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins.
I am not going to bombard you with each title of every video game, movie, book series, standalone book, author, or T.V. series I enjoy. So, I have decided that I am going to list my top five favorites of each of these, with number one ranking the highest.
VIDEO GAMES
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PS3)
- The Elder Scrolls Online (PS4)
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)
- Okami (Wii)
- Pokémon X and Y (3DS)
Some other really good video games I recommend would be Far Cry 3 (PS3), Diablo 3 (PS3 and PS4), and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II (PS2). I love video games and I have a lot more that I think others would enjoy, so if you want to chat about that, feel free to shoot me a PM!
MOVIES
- How To Train Your Dragon
- The Green Mile
- Jack Reacher
- Looper
- Bridge of Spies
There is always new movies coming out, so I can't guarantee this list is up to date!
BOOK SERIES
- A Song of Ice and Fire - George R.R. Martin
- The Inheritance Cycle - Christopher Paolini
- The Infernal Devices - Cassandra Clare
- Percy Jackson & the Olympians - Rick Riordan
- The Last Vampire - Christopher Pike*
I read the re-released version of this series. The newer versions were released in omnibus form when the vampire craze hit the young adult section back around 2009. The readily available versions of this series is published under the series titled "The Thirst".
Books are my life, but I'd guess that anyone on this site would enjoy reading. I love sitting down with a good book and reading for hours and hours. I have so many books I'd recommend, it is ridiculous! If you want to talk books, I'm always looking for new titles to read! A few more book series I'd recommend are the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, the Incarnate series by Jodi Meadows, and the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness by Michelle Paver.
STANDALONE BOOKS
- Under the Dome - Stephen King
- The Host - Stephenie Meyer
- A Different Blue - Amy Harmon
- The Life of Pi - Yann Martel
- Distant Waves: A Novel of the Titanic - Suzanne Weyn
I enjoy series much more than standalone books. I'm always sad that there isn't any other books to read once I finish a standalone book! A few other standalone books I recommend are Dragon's Keep by Janet Lee Carey, A Dog's Life by Ann M. Martin, The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein, Cracker! by Cynthia Kadohata, and A Dog's Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron.
AUTHORS
- Stephen King
- Christopher Pike
- Cassandra Clare
- Richelle Mead
- Chanda Hahn
I read books from a plethora of Authors, but I have read many different series and/or books from the above authors and enjoyed each one. I have to say, Stephen King is my all-time favorite. Pretty much any book by him is sure to be a good read!
T.V. SERIES
- Avatar: The Last Airbender
- Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)
- Fairy Tail
- Sword Art Online
- Supernatural
I very rarely watch T.V. since I can't handle waiting a whole week for a new episode. If I watch a T.V. show, I'm going to watch all 4 seasons in four days; that's the only way I can truly enjoy the show. But when I do find a show I love, I obsess over it.
Actually, when I find anything I love, I obsess over it. My main obsessions are Skyrim, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin), Sword Art Online, Pokémon, and How to Train Your Dragon. If you were to ask a question about any one of the things I just listed, I could most likely give you an answer. I used to be that way with Supernatural as well, but I stopped watching the show in Season 6 and I never got around to finishing it. I could talk about all of the things listed above for hours on end without running out of topics to discuss. There are a lot of book series I know pretty well, but not as well as these!
I have many story ideas floating around in my head (and not just Fanfictions), but real life doesn't grant me the time to write them down. Hopefully I'll find the time to get them on paper, well computer, some day!
