Alright. Can't really say i'm still new to fanfiction.net anymore. I STILL haven't written anything yet though. Since English is not my native language, hence quite time-consuming to write with, don't hold your breath. For now I'm happy to read fanfic and talk with the authors.
I had always thought that if I ever wrote a fanfic, it would be a Harry Potter time-travel one. And I'm now currently throwing on paper plot ideas for a Naruto time-travel story.
I've got a thing for peggy sue fics. I'm deep in the Naruto manga for now (finale and all), but I'm also a big Harry Potter fan and a helpless romantic..., especially when it comes to doomed, tragically complicated one : Padme and Anakin, Gin and Rangiku...
For three years now Game of Thrones (aka A song of Ice and Fire) has been a huge part of my life. Sadly I find it extremely difficult to find good stories who manage to grasp the complexity of the world and the characters. I suppose it's because my favorite characters are the most complicated ones with layered personalities and the hidden good core : at the top (SPOILER ASoS) Jaime Lannister, "Reek" and yeah Sansa. (I started to respect her when she managed "to look at the head without seeing it at all" and by the time I had finished AcoK, I was thoroughly in love wtih her.)
And I know this is Fanfiction, so basically everything can be written, but I'm a stauch supporter for Canon characterisation, particularly when it comes to shipping (though I'm willing to make an exception for Luna/Neville), with the latest updates from the originals. That's why : hate non-canon pairings (I support SasuSaku, you've been warned), mostly hate OOC, don't like evil-Dumbledore, and can't bear to read about an evil-Snape since I read DH in 2007, or a psychopathic Itachi since episode 400 in 2008, or a sadistic Jaime Lannister, 'cause for me they are the epitomes of awesomeness ! XD
As you may have guessed, the fandoms I'm mostly centered on are : Harry Potter, Naruto, Star Wars, Bleach (quite recently), Lord of the rings (certainly not recently), some Disney s I suppose, Kenshin rurouni (check it out. Greatest shonen ever)... and random more...
