First of all...

This is significantly shorter than what I used to have up, I got tired of and then deleted most of my earlier ramblings on here...I guess I was just really tired of the way my ramblings sounded from years ago when I didn't understand the delicacy of not sounding like a starry eyed fan girl on a blog about nothing...I decided to leave my comments on these two stories standing and unedited even though it is now possible for a favorites list to contain more stories because it makes absolutely no sense not to, since I spent so much time and love and energy on them in the first place, and who am I to destroy good art?

On a more Fandom note...

I am a huge fan of J.K. and all, but sometimes i really wish Harry had taken Draco's hand on the train... okay so maybe that's all the time... but that's what fanfics are for!

In case you are wondering, though I can't imagine why you would, I am a big fan of Slytherin!Harry, Dark!Harry, Powerful!Harry, Goth!Harry, Creature!Harry, Mage!Harry, Elemental!Harry (duh) and a bunch of other imaginative characteristics with the necessary exclamation points that I am too lazy to list!Harry and yes those do apply to Draco as well. I also feel that as the series is called Harry Potter, no offense to those of you that are big fans of the marauders in their school days, but i'm not one of them.I'm not totally anti-marauder here, I think the adult versions are fine and in some cases i'm rather big fans of them myself, but i'm not about to go reading a story that Harry isn't even in... Come on now, that's just cruel to have something be listed in the Harry Potter category but then turn around and not even put him in the story, not even as a secondary character... I am not saying I have anything against your passion for writing them or anything, just don't expect any cookies and sugary treats from me if you do.

The only thing that really annoys me about this site are the super amazing stories that clearly talented people have posted and then abandoned. I can't imagine why anyone would want to read a story and get really into it only to have it drop off in the middle of the plot and be abandoned for two, three, four plus years. Seriously!!!!!!!!! I almost want to steal the story just to finish it half of the time. The only thing that stops me is that I have no idea where they were going with it and wouldn't want to have people disappointed in my endings... but if you want to post a story on here, please complete it before you put it up!

The sorting hat has, numerous times, placed me in Slytherin. Now whether my results were actually garnered on my personality or not I have no idea because I can never just take a quiz like that and answer what I would actually do in real life. First off I have no idea if I really would do those things half the time, and second it's so much more fun to answer the quiz with whatever gets me in Slytherin. Any means to achieve my ends right? besides Draco Malfoy would be in the same house... totally self explanatory how much more awesome that would be.

Finally, If you've been on the computer for hours on end, reading numerous fanfictions, copy this onto your profile, and add your name to this list: Danyan, Avatarwolf, Shifter-youkai, AkatsukiFan, Elmocrazy,XxKimimaro's-little-stalkerxX. I have just read two fics that deserve my utmost recognition for their superb penmanship and amazing talent in writing skills. The first one i finished yesterday, and was so moved by it, that i could not begin to put into words how shattering and awe-inspiring it was, let alone leave a review for such an amazing piece of talent. This story, was so moving, i hated myself for not reading it sooner. I had seen it dozens of times on various profiles under the favorite stories section, but yet could not manage to bring myself to read it. I had been reading many other harry slash fics and it just didn't seem like a story i was into based off of the short description about it, but i should have known better, knowing that those things barely give you two lines with which to describe a story, and those two lines are almost never enough, especially with a story like this one. Finally, i visited her bio page, thinking it wouldn't hurt to see what i was missing for so long, and was convinced i had to read it when i heard that it had managed to make someone who was only reading het!harry, fall head over heels into the realms of H/D. So i read it, and could not stop reading it. This story had the most addictive of qualities and was an amazing piece of literature in and of itself. I was hooked. I read it until the end, practically crying inside because it was over, and the small drabbles of the future of that fic, didn't seem to do the fic true justice, but at the same time, were cute little glimpses of what the two were after all of those years. This fic is, of course, Checkmate by Naadi. Naadi is so incredibly talented, not just in writing, but also in art, and has her own website, if you care to see what i'm rambling about. Please go and read this fic, if you read no other on this site.

Now i know those "Hermiones" out there heard me say two fics. The second one, also very moving and sweet, by an also extremely talented author. Whilst not quite as reluctant to read this at first as naadi, i realized that i had initially read this once before, and maybe i forgot about it, or maybe i just gave up to soon, nonplussed by this revalation, i kept reading until there was no more to read, and then i realized that, though some of the concepts and emotions were the same, some were vastly different, and this encouraged me to post this up on my site as tribute to these two wonderful authors, who deserve recognition far beyond what i could possibly give them, not that i won't try my hardest to make them feel loved and appreciated for all of their hard work. The second story, which i have just now finished, is called Unthinkable Thoughts by Aidan Lynch. I urge you to go and read this fantastic work of art as well.

okay, that's all i have to say for now, but keep checking in, as you never know what i'm going to post up here next...
