~I know, I know, not what you guys want to read but it is a requirement... (takes a deep breath) this is my disclaimer, don't own it, not making a profit from it, (looks aroung nervously) Now that wasn't to painfull. Since I don't write, most of you are wondering about the need for a disclaimer, well if you take a look at my niffty little icon, anyone thats took at least a semester of art appreciation will reconize it as one of M.C.Esther's wonderfull pieces 'Relativity', or you could be like half of the people I know and reconize it as a neat optical illusion that they found while searching the web either way I love mcesthers work he did tons of other OL's so you should check him out. (looks around to make sure I stoked his ego enough that his benificiaries won't sue)

~fyi for any one interested to know the reasoning for the chosing of this user name, its a palindrome, that means its the same forwards and backwards, ( like 'race car' and 'now sir a war is won' and 'Lewd did I live, & evil I did dwel' ) I came across it one day and fell in love with it.

~All I have to give ya now is a Harry centered HP c2, the hp stories in my fav are the ones that were not allowed in the c2 because it was a crossover that was in a different catagory. Any way so I decided to give a little longer description of my c2 so here you go.

C2 community: For people who spend WAY to much on this site!

Well it is any good Harry centered fic that has striked my fancy, but if you want to be specific:

Pairings: I'm not much into romance fics unless it is well written and not the main focus of the fic, pairings are varied, I read any thing from H/HG, to H/LV; not much of a H/G, or a H/Cho fan, actually not much of a ginny fan all together, too many fics out there making her into a red vixen marry sue. But there are a few in here but not many. I really don't like smut or lemons in the middle of stories, the occasional fluff is fine, but you don't know how many well written fics ruin the flow of the stories when all of a sudden there going at it like bunnies. I will concede that there are a few of those types of scenes in some of the fics that are either in my c2 (or my favorites due to x-over ) but they are well written and do not diminish the stories integrity. Oh and most if not all are single pairings, there might be one or two with SS/H/D, but that is the exstent of the multiples that I read. Also there are no fem-slash, sorry but I just don't read them.

Genre: Most if not all of the fics in the c2 are either angst or fantasy and there is action/adventure, I guess thriller, sci-fi, and drama. I'm not much into to humor, parodies, or romances; I'm more into the suspense and tragedies.

different types of PLOTS that ARE in the c2: AU, I like super power (most cases just powerful or simply unique powers) so there are quite a few in here, Independent, Betrayed, Azkaban, pre-post or even during hogwarts as long as it is Harry centered, I love time or dimension travel, only to the past tho (or in the dimension it can be the present) I don't really like time travel to the future because I like Harry to have an edge, so there are none of them in here. I like knowable, capable, either kick-ass or quiet and calculating Harry's, so lots of them weather they be dark!evil, dark!not evil., light, or the oh so popular gray. There are many different species fics, where hes a vampire, were-wolf , Veela, elf, or any other well developed species. Of course there are plenty of Severitus but only well written ones and ones that have Harry go under cover as Snapes son and or becomes a death eater (weather to spy or not), with very few people if any one, other then the 'Snape's' knowing his true identity. There are plenty of different houses and different upbringings, and neglected and or siblings are supposed savior, even different schools for Harry to attend. Then there are the great fics where Harry stays or gets stuck in his anmigas(sp?) form and no one knows its him, along with the other fics where he has a secret identity and or an alias that is considered powerful and or a major threat to the balance of the wizarding world. Harry being the reincarnation of someone or he comes into an inheritance, I will amit I am partial to Harry as a marty-stu but only to an exstent (ie. it must be believable and well written) Of course there are all of those great crossovers, anything from LOTR, to SG:SG1, and don't even get me started on the different anime crossovers that are in there. ( all centered around Harry, as his alias is an exsisting character or introducing him to the other 'worlds', I'm not that partial to other characters coming to hogwarts) Or fics with any combination of the above. Wheather you like dumbledor bashing or him as the powerful grandfather type its got them, there is bound to be something you like, I promise there not all super power fics.

types of PLOTS that are NOT in c2: Re-writes of cannon, I hate re-reading what happened in the books with only one thing changed or and extra character added, its long boring and tedious, if you want to add an OC just recap the importance of that character in the previous books if your going to follow the canon story line and continue with your, hopefuly, original story line. I usually don't read girl!harry, so there are not many in here, and the few I do, have amazing plots and a resonable reason for the change of gender. The only way I can stand an OC is if it is well developed and a reason for being there, not just becaue you want to have a mary-sue of yourself fighting bad guys with the hp crew, that means no long lost siblings reappearing or mysterious children of professors poping up and being all powerful. OC children of cannon characters are fine as long as there not mary-sues and not the main focus of the fic, the only way I read fics with harry having siblings is if he a) goes into a different world/dimention; b) major AU's were the sibling is the supposed b-w-l or c) where harry grew up with them and harrys the powerful special one, I'm a sucker for powerful harrys so it would do no good to have a more powerful sibling now would it. Of course OC are great in major AU fics that contain new schools, worlds, dimentions, realms, ect. where he basically leaves all cannon behind and they can be powerful but not as so as harry. Not really into M-preg, there are a few, mabye two or three, well writen ones that I included so far, but I haven't come a cross many that didn't have the pregnancey and romanceas the entire plot. The only reasons I want to see harrys parents alive is if it involves time travel or an AU where they never died that night, I can't stand fics where the come back to life because of some object or another, or because harry 'wished' hard enough for them, grrr come on people come up with better plots. There are no harry!harem fics, there may be a few where he gets around alittle, but not having the multiple pairings the main focus of the fic. And as I've stated before there are very few major romance fics, most are gen or with minimual pairings.

~All of the fics in my C2 and fav, are well written and are worth sitting up at three in the morning to finish reading them, most of them are WIP but update semi-regularly (dependent on author). Most if not all the fics are NOT one-shots. So far I only have one and its a song fic but it had a great story line that went perfectly with the song. I tend to enjoy the longer more indepth fics, I just hate when I start getting into a fic and find out that it is either abandoned or a one-shot. But there are both new and old fics listed, they are all GREAT fics, so go and read them and make sure you give kudos to the authors for there long hours slaving over a key board, weather they did it at the wee hours of the morning or skived off of work or school to entertain us.

~When using any c2 remember to sort by all ratings to get a complete list of fics in the archive, it will alow you access to the M rated fics that it has, and doesn't show you when you first enter a c2, (that is if your alowed and wish to view the M rated fics) Also sort by update to get newer fics or like me to check and see if some of your fav authors updated there older fics. I know that may be common knowledge for most people out there but it's more geared towards the newbes of the site, b/c I know when I first came to the site I was a little slow on the uptake and a few helpful hints in random peoples profile helped greatly, so if you need help with the workings or lingo for the HP ficdom don't hesitate to e-mail me, as long as it's not spam I don't mind a chat.

--I found this posted on some ones myspace and laughed my ass off--

John O'Reilly hoisted his beer and said,"Here's to spending the rest of me life, between the legs of me wife!" That won him the top prize at the local pub for the best toast of the night! He went home and told his wife, Mary, "I won the prize for the best toast of the night."
She said, "Aye, did ye now. And what was your toast?" John said, "Here's to spending the rest of me life, sitting in church beside me lovely wife."
"Oh, that is very nice indeed, John!" Mary said. The next day, Mary ran into one of John's drinking buddies on the street corner. The man chuckled leeringly and said, "John won the prize the other night at the pub with a toast about you, Mary."
She said, "Aye, he told me, and I was a bit surprised meself. You know, he's only been there twice in the last four years. Once he fell asleep, and the other time I had to pull him by the ears to make him come."

~Thanks to every one that spent the time reading or in most cases skimming through my profile (which has almost nothing about me in it, can't make it to easy for them stockers) and thanks to all the lovely people out there who subscribed to my c2, if there is any one out there that knows a few stories that may fit into the theme(s) of the c2 drop me a line, it's always nice to read new fics that didn't take four hours searching through the archives to find.
