He Forgot about the Muse
A look at a prequel to the 2004 film "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". Does not involve Joel or Clementine but shows another patient coming to Dr. Howard Mierzwiak at Lacuna, Inc. for some memory therapy.

Thanks Fur Nothing »
Crossovers have gone to the dogs in this story based on the 1974 film "Benji" and the 101 Dalmatians franchise (with emphasis on the 1961 film). This is the centennial marking of 500 stories on the site. I neither own these characters, nor have I been to London.

Duckie Finally Gets a Girl »
Valentine's Day is coming up, so let's rescue Duckie from singlehood before he gets too cynical. Takes place years after the 1986 film "Pretty in Pink". I don't own the characters from the movie and the only time I called a radio show was for a movie trivia contest. Now with bonus *secret* chapter!
Pretty in Pink, K, English, chapters: 2, words: 9k+, favs: 3, follows: 1, updated: 3/24 published: 2/13/2021
21Pong Lessons »
A drabble series that is and isn't about the groundbreaking game Pong - it could alternatively be titled "Everything I Needed to Know in Life I Learned from Pong". My only posting that I'll keep in-progress just in case I have an occasional inspiration for additions later; I'm starting off with 13 lessons and we'll see where it goes.

Painted Smile »
Bob Harris, five years after the 2003 film "Lost in Translation". I don't own the characters of the film, but I do own my own mistakes.

Windfall
Making ends meet isn't easy sometimes. Archie Bunker finds he might have a chance to make a few extra dollars in a story that takes place during season three of "All in the Family". Cleaning out my unpublished literary garage, work 3 of 3.
All In The Family, K, English, Humor, words: 2k+, favs: 2, follows: 1, 1/23

Based on the 1951 "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Klaatu left Earth, but Helen Benson still has to cope with the rest of humanity. Cleaning out my unpublished literary garage, work 2 of 3.

Money Can't Buy Happiness
A follow up to the 1985 film "The Holcroft Covenant". Noel Holcroft ruminates on the events of the film and just how much trouble money can cause. Cleaning out my unpublished literary garage, work 1 of 3.

All I Really Need to Know I Learned in a POW Camp
Found an empty category for the 2002 film "Hart's War" and watched it before penning a short sequel. The film took place during a snowy winter, and I'm snowed in right now so - why not? I don't own these characters or a seat in the Senate.
Hart's War, K+, English, words: 1k+, favs: 1, follows: 1, 1/10

Love Will Turn You Around
Singer tries to be an actor pretending to be a race car driver in the 1982 Kenny Rogers' movie "Six Pack". If life spins you out, don't start off again down the track in the wrong direction. I don't own these characters but I have been to a dirt track before.
Misc. Movies, K, English, words: 6k+, favs: 2, follows: 2, 1/3

Beefer Madness
We travel back in time to 1938 for a look at "Reefer Madness". Use of Mary Jane is a little more socially accepted now, so we'll pick on something else for a parody. As the most tenuous Christmas tie-in, some people have a tradition of eating roast beef for the holiday. I don't own these characters and haven't eaten an Impossible Burger.
Reefer Madness, K, English, Parody, words: 3k+, favs: 2, follows: 1, 12/25/2024

Interesting Times
A short epilogue to the 1972 film by Bruce Lee. Chen Zhen didn't walk to his fate - he pounced. But he left behind more than just a fiancé. I don't own these characters or a straw mat. For the Mischmasch 2024 Fortnight #26 challenge.
Fist of Fury/精武门, K, English, words: 1k+, favs: 1, follows: 1, 12/20/2024

Passive or Aggresive? The Nature of a Thing called Death
A sequel of the story "Knock" broadcast on the radio drama "Dimension X" from 1950. The Xon tried to turn the Earth into a zoo and failed. Did they make it back home? Sort of. You could try a text-to-speech conversion for this one, but I honestly don't know how it would sound - certainly not as good as an old static-filled radio broadcast.
Radio Dramas, K+, English, words: 3k+, favs: 1, follows: 1, 12/19/2024

Hardware Wars II: The Warranty Strikes Back
A sequel to the first Star Wars parody film made, the 1978 "Hardware Wars". That 12-minute film is in the public domain and can be found on YouTube and other streaming services. This sequel is written in the same manner - a cheap, "Coming Soon" type trailer that gives the whole story away in 1/10 the time of the film. I don't own these characters or SW action figures.
Star Wars, K, English, Humor, words: 2k+, favs: 1, 12/11/2024
2
Wondrous Apparitions Provided by Magicians
Penny finds out a lot CAN happen in the 5 minutes between 9:59 and 10:04 while at work on a Saturday morning. I don't own these characters and I haven't been to a Cheesecake Factory in years. For the Mischmasch Fortnight #25 challenge.
Big Bang Theory, K, English, Humor, words: 4k+, favs: 2, follows: 1, 12/6/2024

Daffy's Finest Hour
Judge Doom is gone, but Toontown isn't without its legal issues after the 1988 "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". Courtroom savvy is a real gift, but can a 'toon rise to the occasion for Wile E. Coyote? I don't own these characters nor can I draw them. For Mischmasch 2024 Week #48 challenge.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit, K, English, words: 4k+, favs: 2, 11/28/2024

Beyond Tomorrow »
Bill Cage was long retired from the events in the 2014 movie "Edge of Tomorrow". Life moved on with him and Rita Vratski until an event occurs that made him question what lay beyond tomorrow. I don't own these characters, and even if I wrote it again I still wouldn't own them. Okay, I added a chapter to the story - I couldn't leave it alone *blows raspberry* Now completer.
Edge of Tomorrow, K, English, chapters: 2, words: 5k+, favs: 15, follows: 7, updated: 11/25/2024 published: 3/2/2019

Non-musical Musical: Cedar Waxwing I Ain't
Digging all the back in the Marvel movie vault to the 1986 "Howard the Duck". Two months after the events of the movie, and Howard finds out about this event called Christmas. Part of my series of (sometimes) yearly Christmas musicals where I spare you the music. I don't own these characters or a laser spectroscope.

QED - Pseudonyms are Just an AKA with a PhD
Roger Thornhill was very much done with the world of espionage after the events of the 1959 film "North by Northwest". But is espionage done with him? I don't own these characters or a decoder ring.
North by Northwest, K, English, words: 2k+, favs: 2, follows: 1, 11/9/2024
