That moment when you read a good story and the author suddenly has a brainfart and mutates the plot into garbage and you're left with this profound sense of utter disappointment and wasted time.

That feel when you find a new setting you like and almost none of the fanfics are to your tastes, and doubly so when the story in question is otherwise well-written.

Nobody reads fanfiction to ooh and aah over your super speshul snuwfleke original character. If you're going to make your story OC-centric, put some actual effort into your character building, fffsss.

On the matter of pairings (and in general, really), wouldn't it be cool if authors could tag their stories accordingly?
